While many organizations has a board or small group of advisors, Consultants for Good looks to our entire community as our advisors. We ask for input via weekly polls, questions in our discussion forums, and twice-per-year surveys.

Some ways the community has shaped Consultants for Good include:

• Presenter Payment: Each presenter has the opportunity to choose whether they'd prefer a direct payment, credit towards their C4G membership, or to donate their payment to our Consulting for All Scholarship Fund

• Membership Fees and Structure: C4G held several rounds of feedback sessions and presented two rounds of surveys to understand how much members would like to contribute to C4G and at what frequency

• Content and Programs: All of our content is based off what members want to teach and learn. We also developed several programs, such as the Health Insurance + Benefits Program and Consultant Match Lab, after hearing that these were the greatest barriers to being a consultant.

C4G is also supported by Non-Voting Advisors Sean Hale and Sean Ramsey, co-founders of Philanthroforce​, who supported the transition of joining forces with Consultants for Good in 2023.
